Hello All,
we successfully registered for a DUO crossing in 2024 yesterday.
And shortly after our skipper told us he is moving interstate and is no longer able to support our swim. Talking about bad timing!
A little bit about us
I am Anke and successfully completed a Solo in 2022 and 2023. As I ticked off this challenge, I am excited to share the load and fun with Shaun. I am also looking forward seeing a different part of the swim above the water. Shaun is from Melbourne and got me back into swimming and more importantly into the open water! He was full of envy the past two years and managed to free some time for training and a trip to Perth for the 2024 Rotto Swim.
I know it is a challenging day not only for the swimmers but especially for the skippers. we obviously reimburse you for fuel, time and efforts on the day!
We are one of many at this time of the year! But is there anybody out there who would consider joining our team and spend a hopefully calm and fast day on the water?
