Training for 45km\s
Training for 45km\s
Hi I am based on a small island with very little access to training plans. I have searched the web in vain and was hoping someone could help re the above? I am currently training 60 -90 mins a day open plan swimming but need guidance. Any ideas? thanks dean
Re: Training for 45km\s
What events are you training for?
Re: Training for 45km\s
I assume you are training for Rottnest channel swim? Open water training is extremely important. Yet, you have to develop endurance as well; you don't want fatigue to take over you in the middle of the swim. It's not necessary to train every day. It might be better to take breaks and then go for longer swim sessions.
